Plant questions Cyperus

Postby Photoman (167) » Mon Feb 16, 2015 11:35 am

http://s1383.photobucket.com/user/Jeffr ... rt=3&o=1Hi I believe this is a Cyperus Helperi. I would like to know what are the branch like stems forming from the plant. Are they going to flower? Thanks

Looks to be Cyperus to me. I have another species of Cyperus that pops up in my lawn regularly. They seem to grow best as bog/emergent plants.

interesting looking plant. I believe those grow locally in our marshy/boggy areas. Haven't seen it submerged in a tank before. Nice!
