Hi I am setting up another aquarium. 37gal tall with LED lights. I do not like to use co2. Can the good members of the form suggest high light needed plants. I will use Excell for nutrients, flourish, Propel and Envy. I like red plants and everything else. I do have flourish with Iron so that isn't a problem. Thanks :P

I'm partial to Corkscrew Val.

Valisneria does not really like Excel at higher doses. The lowest dose on the bottle seems to be OK.
Vals will get their carbon from carbonates in the water. Good plant for hard water tanks.

Most of the aquatic plants will be OK in medium light with Excel, but I am not sure how high a lighting can go without using CO2. I would aim for medium light rather than high.

So true. Found that out the hard way when I dosed my daughter's tank after I set it up a year ago and all her Valisneria melted.
