I'll check that out Laura. I've always considered going LED, just hesitant about the growth of my plants, as i prefer to dabble on the end of things. And yes, Elizabeth likes her Guppies, so I plan to design a Guppy Paradise.

Does your fixture have a link where I could check out the specs?

http://www.truaqua.com/aquarium-led-light-nano-tp.html is the LED I just got for my nano.

http://www.amazon.com/Finnex-FugeRay-Pl ... 3RQT51KCHJ is the Finnex I just got for my 25gal.

Finnex has a thread over on TPT where they've posted the PAR values they've tested from their fixtures: http://www.plantedtank.net/forums/showt ... p?t=189944

Do you guys have this same deal on Canadian Amazon? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IWI ... UTF8&psc=1 :dismay:

We are looking at a Custom 15GAL Cube. It's a nice little tank and neat dimensions. We saw it at a PetCo in Grand Forks, ND, and we've decided to get one custom built with a few changes. This is why I am asking about light penetration.
