Hardy plants?

When I ordered my filter the other day I decided to order some java moss and a java fern because they were a good price and no extra shipping charges, then promptly forgot about them.
:slapforehead:
The courier brought the order from Perth, really can't get much further away unless you leave the country so courier time was three days, then I wasn't home so the courier left a note in the letterbox. I picked up the order at the depot the next morning and put the package in the boot (that's the car's trunk for those of you who use different slang). It sat there all day in the boiling sun - 32degC (90F) outside the car, goodness only knows what it was inside the car.

Unpacked the filter and prefilter that afternoon and threw the box out the back door to put out with recycling the next day. Next morning while preparing the box for recycling I notice the word "Java" on the con note on the outside of the box. Suddenly the penny drops and I empty the shredded paper out to find another cardboard box inside with the two precious plants - perfectly green and robust - looking as if they had just been packed.
:dontknow:
I am now completely convinced at least these two plants are bullet-proof. I had totally expected two brown soggy messes after that ordeal but no, fresh as new daisies!

Let's hope they do as well in my tanks. :P

Now a few days later. The java fern's leaves are looking a little worse for wear but there are new shoots. I accidentally broke the rhizome when I attached it to some driftwood too - oops!

The java fern looks fine!
