I have a 58G tank that is just being setup as a planted tank. I will have ADA soil along with 2 96w bulbs. My question is I would like to build my own co2 unit but I need some input.

Are you wanting to build your own pressurized unit, or use a DIY yeast/sugar setup?

On a tank that size, you do really need to go with a pressurized unit... DIY won't get your CO2 levels consistent enough throughout the tank. They're pricey, though. There were some Victor regulators on Ebay not long ago for a really good price.
