Decided to set up another nano....

It's been a while since I used this method..... going high-tech...

Got a cube, led lighting (8000k and 500par), a decent substrate, pressurized CO2 and a crap filter... doesn't matter, it's gonna be useful, and that's why it is there...

My plant choice it's a bit diferent than the ususal.
bolbitis heudeloti
Rotala blood red (pretty sure it's rotundifolia)
rotala indica
rotala macandra
Plagiochilaceae sp. Cameroon Moss; Hanegoke sp.
fissidens grandifrons
fissidens splachnobryoides
bucephalandra belindae
bucephalandra brownie brown
bucephalandra brownie jade

Good stuff Joe, glad to see you still doing your Nanos. What's the overall gallonage of the new cube?

Looking forward to watching this progress.

Hi mate,
this one it's 3.5G nano cube, and I got really high expectations about this one, because I gonna try to keep some demanding plants and mosses and some really special fauna....

I'm gonna try to put some fts of the tank today.

Fluval Stratum as a substrate? Looks familiar. Wow, 2.5GAL, that's going to be interesting to watch this grow out.

Aqua Gro it's a bit more brownish and it doesn't contain nitrogen and phosphate on it's composition.....
I'm complementing my both tanks with a small quantities of NPK.

For what I read, in previous researches Aqua Grow doesn't turn muddy, like most soil based substrates, so I can not tell much about it. The only thing I can say, i got it in the oter nano since late July, never had a problem with it (so far), plants rooted well, specially the crypts...

Interesting. Looks really close to Stratum. Interesting indeed. I will check that out later on this afternoon to see what it's made of.
