I am. I don't have the time. School, my new job, chores, sports , and my gf are time consuming haha. But I think Sunday the tank will be resealed. Wait a few days and then fill it back up and watch it recycle. Then add plants and shrimp. My new job will help pay for MTS

Scroll all the way back and read what Diana said. Hex tanks are good for Angelfish. Two big Koi Angels would be my choice.

I could move my breeding pair there once it's fixed up

Wouldn't be a bad idea. They would look nice in there and...they are cichlids! Ask Diana what you could add in with them. I'm sure there is some dithers, maybe rainbow fish.

Nope. Nothing.
That size and shape is just right for a mated pair of Angels. They will claim the whole tank and attack anything that gets too close to their nest. That is the whole volume of the tank.

I'd put your mated pair in there and call it a day. Honestly, Hex Tanks are a bane on the Aquarium world. Good for display (loads of Male Guppies or fish that prefer depth as opposed to floor surface) not good for your average tank for fish with requirements.
