This is the 55 gallon, it's doing incredibly well, the tank is clearer than ever befor! I also added some crypt witch I would have never guessed it would live due to me only turning the lights on for three hours every other day. The tank doesn't even see direct light.

Just a few notes:

125- I had some unusual things happen last week, the pearl g. Came down with some sort of fungal infection around his head I tried treating it in my QT tank but he died after about a week if treatment. Also one of my sunset g. Seems to have droopsy she started swelling about the same time the pearl got sick. She is in the QT temp at 79-80 with myacin 2 treatment. It's the fourth day and the swelling has lessened.
All other fish seem to be 100% even the male sunset who stays clued to the female most of the time.
All water parameters are perfect, AM0, NITRITE0, NITRATE .02~ IF not 0, so I'm not sure of the cause, I had done a water change the weekend befor they got sick so I'm not sure if it was stress from a temp drop, I normally allow a 2° temp drop during water changes. Also it could have been something introduced from cleaning the house though the tank is basically cover 95%.

55- is doing great no algae growth at all and the crypts are growing very well in plain gravel.
I feed every other day
Lights on for 3 hours every other day during feeding
All inhabitants are doing great.

20- well it's doing, this tank is fighting me with everything it's got.
I finally got the algae under control I dropped the lighting to 5 hours a day
The plants are doing much better with the long rest period, the inhabitants are 12 baby kribs and a pleco.

That 55 is nice. I love Pearl Gourami, they have been my favorite of the Labyrinth Lungs always. I kept 2 in a 55 and I can attest about tank ownership. Each divided up the tank in half, Hannibal and Lector were their names.

Sorry to hear, Gourami are prone to sickness, they need really really clean water for a fish that lives in Oxygen poor waters.

I had a pair that mated and had eggs in my tank! Both died of a disease. And I miss them.

That's awesome meh, I never can seem to find a female to add to my tanks. I do really like the pearl gouramis it is probably the best looking and easy to keep of the labyrinth types.

I've got some questions,
First off I would like a shoal of Angel fish I'm thinking 5-7 I have one old male (2 years old) and would like to add 5 or 6 more. Will a shoal of angels be overly aggressive to tank mates? Or more so with each other?

Also should I give the older angel up and start with a new batch of youngsters. I will be buying quarter size angels because I have found this is the only way for me to keep them from eating my neons.

how agressive is the old timer? The Four(three adults and 1 juvie) I have now do not bother any other fish in the tank.....Now The older one should be fine with 5 or 6 other fish in the tank.....Territory agression from time to time is normal......unless you have a super agressive angel then you should be ok with adding more Angels to the tank. I was able to add a nickle sized baby to almost full grown angels and Not one sign of agression....I geuss they might think he/she is tetra  .....Good Luck on the New Angel Herd and Have fun with them.I just love my Herd :thumb:

p.s If you do decide to get rid of him...i will take him :secret:

p.s p.s this is not an qeustion it is a demand hehehe

That male is a grump but I don't think, he won't kill any of them I don't think. I guess I'll just have to try it and see what happens.

Well my plans are on hold for a couple weeks, my dang kribs just brought some more fry out into the world I can't introduce anything while they are on guard. I may still buy angels and QT them for a few weeks I don't ever have good luck with young angels so a long QT is probably best anyway.
