Blue Tuxes?

Postby AnimalBoy333 (448) » Mon Oct 01, 2012 3:11 pm

Hello again everyone, I've begun to get more active on here again! Now, for the business at hand. I have a 10 gallon FO tank with a single false ocellaris clown, would I be able to squeeze in a blue tuxedo urchin and a few blue hermit crabs in the mix? If so, what is a good asking price for the urchin, my not so LFS has the hermits going for about $.50 at the moment so I won't have a problem there, but the urchin is what I am wondering about price wise, just to make sure I''m not being ripped off completely. Here is a picture:

You can learn more about it in the October issue of TFH. I believe the article was called "Five Favorite Inverts for Most Any Marine Aquarium". Thanks very much. :D

Thanks Andrew! I've checked out some places around the Internet and found (after some brain-wracking math, remind me never to go to more then two sites!) the average price was about $25. Seems like a fair price, still wanna make sure though.

FOWLR is a great way to start. Don't ever skimp on a skimmer, get the best one money can buy, this is the key to a successful Marine tank, along with monitoring SG and ensuring water is 100% Pristine.

Any brands to recommend Gary? I believe there are at least 5 brands at the LFS I go to, any particular size as well?

Depends are you running a refugium or looking for a Hang On Back variety?

I am not running a refugium at the moment. Hang on back would probably be the best as there isn't that much space where it is currently set up.
