Disruption of the Nitrogen cycle.

Postby beeshrimpnerd (73) » Wed Jan 30, 2013 6:15 pm

I will be conducting an experiment with the nitrogen cycle. I will first fill several tanks and speed up the cycle in all of these with seachem stability. I will proceed to leaving the nitrogen cycle to die and monitor the various levels of rising ammonia. Has anyone done this? Tips? What do you all think bout this?
I saw a green sea turtle in Maui, Hawaii. It was the coolest of my life.Though its illegal, I came very close to one. But it was the turtle that approached me. Unfortunately, they're in danger. Why don't we all conserve?

Never tried that before, but I am interested in the results they yield, would you mind collecting and posting data for us. Neat experiment as long as no live animals will be included in the testing.

Yeah, are you interested in seeing if the nitrogen cycle will speed up by the use of a bacteria seeding product?
Or more interested in seeing if the nitrogen cycle will shut down after seeding?
Basically, just state what your hypothesis is.
I too am interested in what you find as well. :D Goodluck!
