Male swordfish problem

Hi This is a strange problem. I have 1 male and 2 females in my tank. It seems like the male has no interest in the females. I haven't had any babies from the females. The tank has good floating plant coverage. Clean water. No babies. I don't know if he has some fun when the lights are off. But when the lights are on, nothing. There is some Bristal Nose Pelcos in the tank with the swords. I don't think they have a meal out of babies. What can I do move the male along. {{ censored spam word }} for fish. The fish are from two different breeders. Thanks :startled:  :P

Make sure the fish are eating a very good diet including fresh or frozen worms, mosquito larvae and other things, not a dry food.
You are right that bristle nose plecos are not generally predatory. Sometimes the swordtails can be. Make sure there is a good forest of floating plants for the babies to hide in.
