Good tank divider?

I am thinking about putting 2 male bettas in a 10 gallon tank, using this product:

Any thoughts?

I would LOVE to find a divider that is NOT clear, so they cannot see each other. But surprisingly, at least to me, I am having a heck of a time finding such a thing.

I have tried the 2 Bettas in one tank, and they got past the divider. Maybe one jumped over? There were no gaps I could see. After that I would keep just one per tank, in a community tank.

For a colored divider perhaps look into darkened acrylic? Stores that specialize in plastic types of materials should be able to cut it to order, too. It is easy to cut if you have any sort of DIY skills.

Oh I am well aware that dividers are not a 100% proof plan. And bettas WILL jump from time to time. I still am not sure exactly what I'm going to do. I did order a 2 1/2 gallon tank for 1 though. I would like to have 2-4 bettas total, but we will see what works out :)
