
They look pretty awesome in the tank slowing venturing out from there hiding space next to the filter hopefully they do okay so I can get another six later on.

Hope yours do well for you; like most small tetras, they can have a hard time acclimating to changes. IME keeping them in the high 70s/low 80s F seems to help keep down ich and fungus outbreaks.

Sounds like you can add more green neons for a larger school in a 15 gal.!

Make sure you have tons of plants in the tank. A trick that usually works well for me with tetras is a solid wall of tall plants all along the back and both sides of the tank, with a few medium and small plants in front. This gives the fish plenty of places to hide and encourages them to school in the front and center of the tank.
