Blueberry shrimp

Postby beeshrimpnerd (73) » Thu Nov 15, 2012 9:36 pm

i saw these cool looking shrimp at the store but have never heard of them. info?
I saw a green sea turtle in Maui, Hawaii. It was the coolest of my life.Though its illegal, I came very close to one. But it was the turtle that approached me. Unfortunately, they're in danger. Why don't we all conserve?

Neocaridina cf. zhangjiajiensis var. blue that's probably what you are looking at the blue pearl shrimp, I've never heard of a blue berry shrimp ether. They are the same group as red cherry shrimp and can be kept the same pH 6.5-7.5 soft water, but will cross with other Neocaridina so its best to keep one type in an aquarium to avoid wired cross colors. But as far as a blueberry shrimp goes I've never heard of one.
