Eheim Problems
Hey guys, I need some help, I got a Eheim Classic 150 today and set it up, but when I tried to turn it on, it would not suck up the water, any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Re: Eheim Problems
The 150 classic is the canister if I'm correct? So what needs to be done,
Step 1: you'll have to get the siphon started on the intake side
Step 2: while water is flowing into the canister plug in the power.
Step 3: your filter should be flowing water!
Note: If your lines have valves the process is much easier.

Try filling up the filter with water from your Aquarium and attempt to start suction this way. Cheating I know, but I do with my Rena all the time.

Lol, thanks guys, I actually did it before any of the responses were posted. And now as I am looking at it, it looks as if there is no water and runs so quietly! I can't wait to stock up my plants now!
