I can say, banggai cardinalfish are not brackish. They prefer a salinity around 1.020-1.025sg. Are you thinking of going saltwater?

Well .. How much will it cost to move to saltwater ?

For a 72 gallon all cardinalfish if possible .

Otherwise . I need crazygar for freshwater .

All depends on the tank size, obviously larger means more cost involved, but larger is better for water stability. Do major major major research on the subject. Don't think you'll end up with a wonderful reef right off the bat, it takes time, I never even got to that stage either.

Start easy (FO or FOWLR) and work on that for one year to get the hang of it. It's more involved but greater the reward.

fowlr is a good idea

FOWLR will be fine for Banggai. Just as stated, start slowly, nothing good ever happens fast in this hobby.
