I currently have 4 aquariums in my room and 110 gallons of water altogether but that amount will soon double in size and 16 aquatic pets, with many more planned! The only constraint is the weight that the old-house floor can handle and the cost.
I really want to become a private breeder when I grow up i'm 13 don't tell the turtle talk forum and this forum seemed like a good way to expand on the hobby.

On the four fish tanks - one isn't even a proper aquarium! It's just a reinforced bin. My friend got two Goldfish as party favors (please don't give out animals as gifts) and couldn't take care of them, so I was the first choice for their new home. Luckily I had a spare filter running on a mature tank! They eat flakes because their little mouths can't eat my other Goldfish pellets.
My betta lives in a 5 gallon aquarium. He eats betta pellets. He's cool.
My Ranchu lives in a 20 gallon aquarium with two baby Dojos. they eat pellets and wafers. My Ranchu likes to be petted. Weird.
My Turtle lives in a 55 gallon aquarium with 7 minnows from a bait shop. She won't eat them so I feed them goldfish food.

I also have a hydrophobic dog. She isn't an issue regarding aquariums.

Well, you're off to a great start for sure. Glad to see another hobbyist getting hooked. Welcome to the forum! We look forward to getting to know you better.

On another note, I'd love to see some pictures of your setups. Turtle tanks included. . .
