hey all , I'm Thomas from Texas, I guess you can say I'm a big fan just never interacted before and thought why the heck not. I have enjoyed alot of the information here and am very pleased that this forum has ties to my favorite magazine.

I'm a fish nut no doubt, been keeping fish for over 26years, started with mollies and african butterfly fish when i was 10 to discus and much more now. I have a few pictures already loaded up , I will gladly share some with you and get more up now I have folks to share it with. Being I am a discus keeper I do 50% water changes on all my tanks just out of habit over the years and find it enjoyable for me and my family to do. I have planted tanks , Over the years its just the only way I know, the only time i have a tank with out plants is when I'm using the sick tank or growing out a fish to the right size to work in a show tank ect..

Discus are by far my favorite, along with all my other babies of course. I just did a count with my kiddo we got around 605 gallons of fresh water, and I would gladly drink from any of em lol.

Picture time some of these are old and new , but I will get current pictures soon.

Some days it can be very active with people on using the threads like a chat room, and other days your post can get lonely. Some topics generate a lot of discussion and some others get only "drive-bys."

Hello and Welcome to the TFH Forum.

Sounds like an impressive endeavour you are embarking on in regards to the tanks. The pictures are wonderful especially that Discus tank.

Yo Skip here  I would also drink the water from my Tanks ;) I know it's cleaner than the tap water. I live in North Central Florida, been here 28 years. I have had at least 1 tank in my home from the age of 5. Back then 1965 it was a 10 gal with Mollies Guppies and a Cory. With a corner filter and a BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ air pump. WoW have times changed. I now keep 3 55 gal. and 1 30 gal. Just picked up a 55 at roadside furniture. That is why I am here, need help getting the film off the glass.
