Hello everyone! I'm still 'lurking' around here mostly, learning all I can from folks here.

I've been keeping aquariums for over 30 years now, starting out with the typical 10-gallon guppy tank, had fun with reef aquariums when I live where I could SCUBA, and now dedicate myself to planted freshwater tanks.

I look forward to joining the conversation here!

I did indeed earn my name. Here is a shot of one of my tanks. Once we buy our house (in a rental now), I'll move onto some larger tanks. But for now, I have 5.

I had just bred the fish you see in the center and was encouranging algae to grow on the back wall to feed the fry (or the infusoria to feed the fry, depending on how you look at it!).
